This image above is one of the views of the final render of the W8 model. The softwares to complete this project is Maya and Adobe 3D Substance Painter. Role: lighting, 3D texturing, some modeling

The image above shows what the model looked like when it was first given to me and before I made any changes.

This is a low-poly model that I had to create called a "windmill machine".

The computers each has a layer that has a glow effect that would make it seem like the computer is on. On the left is information about the W8 room from the NASA website, so the viewer can read about it while being in virtual reality. One the right is the Graphics and Visualization Lab website.

Just like the computers on the left, each light had a glow layer as well to make the lighting more realistic. I also had to remodel the lights in order to make it more accurate to the room in real life.

I had the honor of joining the Graphics and Visualization Lab from the NASA Glenn Research Center and feature the result of the W8 model at the Futureland Conference 2022 in Cleveland OH. The lab was able to convert the W8 model from Maya and into a virtual Reality. The W8 virtual reality experience was shown to those that attended the conference
